Victoria Winslow took a special interest in Haiti while an undergraduate at the University of Delaware (UD). Inspired by the fundraising and advocacy efforts of the active Students for Haiti organization that had emerged at UD, Victoria sold donated textbooks back to the campus bookstore as part of a fundraiser and donated its proceeds to SFH. This money later funded the reconstruction of a Haitian hospital damaged in the 2010 earthquake. Shortly thereafter, Victoria joined the Students for Haiti team. She served as vice president of the organization in her senior year and worked with fellow officers to found Students for Haiti, Inc. in the fall of 2011. As President of Students for Haiti, Inc., Victoria has since worked diligently to motivate, support, and unite student groups that, like her, take special interest in development projects in Haiti.
